Young ‘Duck Dynasty’ Stars Share Exciting News About Their Future

After Duck Dynasty was on the air for five years, fans of the show felt like yet another member of the ever-growing Roberston family. Through the show, they got the chance to watch some of the youngest members such as Mia, Sadie, and John Luke grow up, and in John Luke’s case, get married.

John Luke married Mary Kate McEarharn on June 27, 2015 in a ceremony that took place on the Roberston family farm. The wedding was attended by 800 family members and friends who gathered to watch the two 19-year-olds say “I do.”

Family members filled up the wedding party as well, with John Luke’s sisters Sadie, Rebecca, and Bella all serving as bridesmaids, while his brothers Will and Reed were groomsmen. John Luke’s father, Willie, officiated the ceremony.

Following the couple’s two-week honeymoon in Australia, they left their Louisiana home to attend Liberty University in Virginia.

While John Luke and Mary Kate have held off on having children while they focus on their studies, they have added a couple of new additions to the family. The pair are parents to two adorable pups, Pippa Mae and Timber.

After over three years of marriage and three years at Liberty University, John Luke and Mary Kate have some exciting news to share with their fans.

John Luke was the first to reveal part of the big news. As he shared in an Instagram post, he was offered the job as the camp director of Camp Ch-Yo-Ca, which its website describes as a “non-denominational Christian camp located in the piney woods of North Louisiana in Calhoun, near West Monroe.”

That means another big change is in store for John Luke and Mary Kate…they’re moving back home to Louisiana!

Mary Kate jumped in a day later to share another piece of news. In addition to John Luke’s new job and their big move, they are taking off on another exciting new adventure together.

Those of you who miss being part of the Robertson family now have an open door into two of its youngest members’ lives again. That’s because John Luke and Mary Kate have decided to start their own YouTube channel!

But that’s not all!

John Luke’s mom, Korie, also took to Instagram to share the same news and a little bit more. She said that not only will John Luke be moving back to Louisiana for his new job, but he’ll be joining his sister Sadie on her Live Original speaking tour that starts soon.

Korie also elaborated a bit on how meaningful John Luke’s new job is to the Roberston family. As she shared, the camp is the place where she and Willie met way back in the 3rd grade!
