Zach Top Shows Off His Cowboy Side At The Houston Rodeo

This week at the annual rodeo in Houston, Zach Top showed that he is not just wearing those cowboy hats for show.

Rodeo Houston is an annual event that began in 1931. Originally called the Houston Fat Stock Show, it has evolved into the city’s signature event, now known as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. This year, the 2025 Houston Rodeo runs from March 4 to March 23.

The 2025 Houston rodeo is currently being held this year from March 4 to the 23rd.

The Houston tradition features the world’s largest livestock show, as well as a classic rodeo that includes events like bull riding, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, women’s barrel racing, and much more.

This month-long event also includes a carnival, daily concerts, and various other fun activities. It is held at NRG Park, and this year has showcased impressive performances, including Zach Top’s cover of George Strait’s “Amarillo by Morning.”

Zach Tops Country Roots

Alongside his musical talents, the singer Is also a little bit cowboy. 

Raised on a dairy farm and ranch in Sunnyside, Washington, Top has deep roots in country living. According to his official website, he “grew up listening to classic country music around the family farm.”
