Additional Performers Added To The CMT Music Awards Lineup

Five additional performers have been announced for the 2024 CMT Music Awards, set to take place on April 7 in Austin, Texas.
Performers For This Year’s CMT Awards
Following last week’s announcement of the exciting performances, the CMT Awards have expanded their lineup. Just revealed yesterday, the performance roster now includes Cody Johnson, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Parker McCollum, and Brittney Spencer. These additions join the previously announced lineup of Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Jordan Davis, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Sam Hunt, Trisha Yearwood, and host Kelsea Ballerini.
As reported by Billboard, Cody Johnson is set to debut his latest track “That’s Texas” during the CMT Music Awards. Meanwhile, Megan Moroney will make her first appearance on the CMT main stage with her performance of “No Caller ID.” Additionally, Moroney will team up with Old Dominion for a rendition of their hit collaboration, “Can’t Break Up Now.” Another noteworthy performance will come from Parker McCollum and Brittney Spencer, who will join forces for a rendition of “Burn It Down,” marking Spencer’s debut on the CMT main stage.
These newly announced acts add to an already impressive lineup for the event, which will be broadcast live from the Moody Center. The 2024 CMT Music Awards guarantee an evening filled with stellar performances, celebrating the best in country music as voted by fans.

Recently announced, Trisha Yearwood will be honored with the inaugural June Carter Cash Humanitarian Award at this year’s event. This prestigious award recognizes an artist, duo/group, or industry veteran who has shown exceptional dedication to their community and fellow artists.

Additionally, Kelsea Ballerini is set to return as the host of the CMT Awards this year, marking her fourth consecutive year in the role. However, it will be her first time hosting the awards solo, as her usual hosting partner, Kane Brown, has announced that he will not be returning this time around.
