American Idol Top 3 Contestants Revealed – Who’s Competing In Season 24’s Finale?
The American Idol Top 3 were revealed in a nail-biting moment at the end of the show’s latest episode on May 4th.
The episode featured a series of mesmerizing performances from contestants Braden Rumfelt, Keyla Richardson, Jordan McCullough, Chris Tungseth, and Hannah Harper. They all performed twice, each delivering a solo in addition to a duet with a Top 10 finisher from Idol‘s 5th season.

After much anticipation, host Ryan Seacrest revealed the American Idol Top 3 for Season 24. They are Keyla Richardson, Jordan McCullough, and Hannah Harper.
Fans sadly had to say “goodbye” to Braden Rumfelt and Chris Tungseth.
With the finale fast-approaching on May 11, the Top 3 have a lot on their plates. They’ll be busy rehearsing for their last performances and doing press. Plus, they’ll return to their hometowns for celebratory visits that will be filmed for the finale.
American Idol Singers React After Being Named Finalists
But right now, the American Idol Top 3 are simply soaking in what it means to be a finalist.
Jordan McCullough, the 27-year-old worship leader from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, shared his joyful reaction to being named a member of the Top 3. Writing on Instagram, he said:
“Thank you for this! I promise to steward it well! Lord thank you for trusting me with this!… Finale next week! TOP 3!”

Keyla Richardson, a 29-year-old music teacher and single mother from Pensacola, Florida, also shared her reaction to being named a finalist.
Her post was short and simple, but fully illustrated her excitement, as she wrote, “Thank you KEYHIVE! We did it, TOP 3 baby! Let’s go!“
Hannah Harper, the 26-year-old stay-at-home mom from Willow Springs, Missouri, went viral during the auditions with her original song, “String Cheese.” She’s been a fan-favorite contestant ever since, so it came as no surprise when she advanced into the Top 3.
Harper shared her gratitude for being named a finalist in an emotional Facebook post:
“TOP 3 I truly can’t believe it…I’m coming HOME!!! I’ll see y’all Wednesday—come out for the parade and concert and let me hug your neck. Willow Springs is going all out, and I feel so loved.”
