Ashley McBryde Puts A Country Spin On A Disney Classic During Concert

Ashley McBryde brought the magic to one of her recent concerts by giving a classic Disney favorite her own country twist.

During a recent stop in Orlando, Florida, for her The Devil I Know tour, Ashley McBryde surprised fans by covering the Disney classic “Part of Your World” from the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid. She shared a video of her singing the song with a country twist on Instagram, captioning it, “When in Orlando, you MUST sing a Disney song…specifically, you must sing something from The Little Mermaid.”

Fans were thrilled that McBryde incorporated a Disney song into her performance while she graced the stage in the heart of Orlando.

“I’m going to need the full video, a live spotify version, and a studio version on your next album. Thanks,” one fan eagerly expressed.

“Petition for ashley to release this as a cover…such a beautiful rendition,” another fan said.

“Starting a petition for you to release an album of Disney covers,” someone else added, echoing many other people in the video’s comments for more Disney-inspired music from McBryde.

In addition to her ongoing tour, McBryde will take a brief break to co-host this year’s CMA Fest.

On June 3, the Country Music Association revealed that McBryde and Jelly Roll will take the hosting reins this year, along with gracing the Nissan Stadium stage with their performances. The event promises a stellar lineup featuring country superstars like Luke Bryan, Lady A, Little Big Town, and many others. For those unable to join the live festivities, the CMA Fest special will air as a three-hour primetime event on ABC on June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
