“The Voice” contestant BIAS performs Chris Stapleton’s “You Should Probably Leave” during Knockouts and gets all four coaches’ approval.

BIAS had previously earned Gwen Stefani and Reba McEntire’s approval when they turned around for him in his Blind Audition. BIAS sang a version of Blake Shelton’s “God’s Country.”

“I think it’s just really exciting to meet a young country guy that has that much spark and energy, and I would love to work with you,” the singer’s now coach had praised.

He went on to compete against his teammate Jacquie Roar in the Battle Rounds when they sang Jelly Roll’s “Need A Favor.” Coach Stefani tasked her two team members to put their own spin on the unique song, all while fighting against each other for their spot on the show.

In the end, Gwen chose BIAS as the winner of the Battle, and he advanced to the Knockouts.

BIAS Covers “You Should Probably Leave” By Chris Stapleton During Season 24 Voice Knockouts

Despite the brevity of his Knockout performance compared to others that evening, viewers got a sneak peek into the coaching session and performance of this aspiring Voice contestant.

BIAS delivered a spirited rendition of Chris Stapleton‘s “You Should Probably Leave,” infusing the performance with playful energy. His dynamic stage presence, combined with skillfully controlled yet distinct vocals, garnered BIAS a substantial amount of positive feedback.

His team coach, Gwen Stefani, shared her thoughts, saying, “BIAS, it’s really rare to have someone that just has this kind of ‘it’ factor.” She continued, “Your vocal is so great, but you don’t even really pay attention to it. You’re just paying attention to you and that’s what an artist is.”

BIAS emerged victorious in the Knockout round on Monday (Nov. 13) night’s episode of The Voice, securing a spot in the Playoffs.

For enthusiasts of The Voice, the Knockout sequence montage had already hinted at BIAS being the winner, but the official announcement came when Stefani declared the victory. Stefani also revealed the distinguishing factors that elevated BIAS above his two fellow team members.

“What I like about BIAS’s voice is that he has this soulful quality to it, and he can do runs. He’s country and he kind of surprises you with the choices that he makes. It’s really going to be hard to compete against his star power.”

Reba, the queen of country herself, even gave BIAS a huge amount of praise after his Knockout performance.

“BIAS won my heart. I thought, ‘Man, that is somebody who I would like to watch every night on stage.’ Where he gets his energy, I have no idea, but it’s just incredible.”

BIAS is set to participate in the Playoffs as a member of Team Stefani! The Voice airs on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8PM EST on NBC.
