Less than 24 hours after a commercial airplane and an Army helicopter collided in midair near Washington, D.C., a small plane crashed in a residential neighborhood in Philadelphia.

The accident happened just after 6 p.m. local time. The FAA reports that the Learjet 55 took off from the Northeast Philadelphia Airport and was headed to Springfield-Branson National Airport in Missouri. The plane was on a medical assignment.

The crash sparked a massive blaze, with numerous outlets reporting cars and homes on fire. Casualties have been reported, but the number of passengers on board have been disputed. The FAA reports that two people were on board, but other outlets are reporting as many as six.

Footage of the fiery crash was captured by home doorbell cameras, security cameras, and cell phones and shared to social media. See some of the footage below.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
