Chris Young Reveals Back Bruises From Being Shoved The Night Of His Arrest

Just last week, country music artist Chris Young was detained at a Nashville bar following an alleged altercation with the Alcoholic Beverage Commission.
On the night of Monday, January 22, Young and his friends started trailing ABC officers and documenting their actions upon their entry into Nashville’s renowned Tin Roof Bar for a compliance check. Subsequently, they followed the officers to the nearby Dawg House Saloon, and that’s when the situation escalated.
As per initial reports, Young “then put his hand out and stopped them from leaving when they were done and ‘st[r]uck’ one of the officers on the shoulder.”
The affidavit details that the atmosphere in the bar turned “hostile” after the physical interaction.
Security footage has since surfaced, revealing a significantly contrasting story.
In the footage, Young extends his arm towards an officer in an attempt to grab their attention, without any physical contact. It is at this moment that the officer forcefully pushes the country singer to the ground, portraying the officer as the instigator. Chris collided with a chair along the bar, resulting in a forceful impact on his back before ultimately falling to the ground.

Following the release of the video, charges against Young were promptly dismissed.
Young has now broken his silence on the incident, sharing a TikTok that reveals another perspective of the altercation, substantiating his claim that he never made physical contact with the officer.
Young incorporated text into the video, stating, “For all the trolls saying ‘don’t touch a cop’…I didn’t touch him.”
The singer captioned the TikTok video with a plea, saying, “Stop coming at me.”

In his latest Instagram post, shared on Tuesday (Jan. 30), Young revealed an image displaying the aftermath of the altercation, revealing injuries on his back and arm. Evidently, there is a conspicuous bruise on his back, situated close to his spine. The situation could have taken a more severe turn for Young had the injury been located on his spinal cord.
