Country Radio Host Bobby Bones Engaged To Caitlin Parker

Congratulations are in order for Bobby “Bones” Estell! The radio and television personality, best known for his nationally syndicated country radio show The Bobby Bones Show, proposed to his girlfriend, Caitlin Parker Sunday night (October 11).

Bobby and Caitlin shared the news on social media along with photos of their special engagement. Bones wrote, “I am the luckiest. I waited so long for the right one. And it payed off.”

Bobby detailed the secret proposal saying that he popped the question in the couple’s barn in their backyard. After Caitlin accepted, the pair danced to “Nothing Left to Lose” by Mat Kearney, while Kearney himself played their song.

“She said it was at Mat’s concert during this song that she knew I was the one for her. So lucky he played it again for only us tonight. I’m so happy I get marry to love of my life,” Bobby wrote.

Parker said of the proposal, “I am in shock and feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I’m so in love & so happy.”

Bobby and Caitlin, who is originally from Oklahoma, met through a mutual friend who worked for ABC’s Dancing With the Stars. In an interview with PEOPLE, Bobby detailed meeting Parker while visiting country star Lauren Alaina while she was competing on DWTS. Parker’s best friend works in public relations for ABC, and had brought her along to the taping, where she was introduced to Bones.

“We didn’t really hit it off the first time we met. We were just like ‘Hi, what’s up?’ and then we started talking on Instagram like a month later,” the 40-year-old said.

When they finally decided to meet up, Bobby thought they were on a date but Caitlin did not. But, that didn’t stop him from asking her out again.

“We went out, and then we went out again, and we were luckily at the point in our relationship where it was like ‘Hey, do you just want to quarantine together?’” Bones said. “So she came here [to Nashville] from Los Angeles. We’ve been here for several weeks and it’s been great.”
