It Is Official: Donald Trump Will Be The 47th President Of The United States.

The election was historic in that, as of right now (November 6th), Trump has won the Electoral College and the popular vote. The last time a Republican did that was George W. Bush in 2004. It has been a full 20 years.

Also, as it currently stands, The Republican party will take the House, Senate, and Presidency.

Country stars are responding to the historic election; here is what they are saying!

Travis Tritt

Travis Tritt responded immediately by posting a video on his social media of him drinking champagne after Donald Trump won the election. He captioned the video: “What an amazing night for America!

Tritt, an outspoken Trump supporter, also posted an old photo of himself and his wife with the president-elect. “I’m so happy and proud of President Trump for continuing to fight, fight, fight!!! God bless America!”

Lee Greenwood

Lee Greenwood’s song “God Bless The USA” was played over the speakers as Donald Trump gave his victory speech. The day after the republican victory, Greenwood took to Instagram with a moving edit. The video shows Trump’s assassination attempt, his campaign trail, and ultimately his victory.

“Even after all the media bashing, business deals lost, relationship changes, being left out of music industry events and multiple attempts to vilify our character – I wouldn’t change a thing🇺🇸I support @realdonaldtrump and am proud to say that I voted for him and the promise for a better future❤️ ”

Brian Kelley took to social media in support of Trump with a large “Keep America Great” hat. Kelley is not new to the political arena. He endorsed Trump five weeks ago on Instagram with the caption, “What a team 🇺🇸 @realdonaldtrump @jdvance ⚡️ protect these men at all costs”

His response to the election results read: “We are so back baby!!! Now we keep it GREAT!!!!!”

Chris Janson

Chris Janson shared a spot-on Donald Trump impression, with his signature mannerisms and everything; watch below!

Aaron Lewis

Aaron Lewis posted a simple yet patriotic American flag and captioned it with only this emoji, “🇺🇸” showing off his American pride.

Kid Rock & Bob Ritchie

Kid Rock posted what initially seems like a rather comedic video of him walking out, dropping the mic, and then flipping off the camera. However, he then walks out as himself (Bob Ritchie), not his performance persona (Kid Rock), and asks people not to gloat. It is funny because he had just very clearly gloated.

The rest of the video is a commentary on the lack of unity he is seeing in the nation.
