When Does Dutton Ranch Premiere?

Dutton Ranch, the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off centered on Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, has added a new cast member.

Paramount+ shared the show’s official logline a few weeks ago, which reads:

“As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.

Yellowstone stars Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser, and Finn Little are returning to reprise their roles as Beth Dutton, Rip Wheeler, and Carter, respectively. Other cast members who are new to the Yellowstone universe include Ed Harris, Annette Bening, Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind.

The explosive first teaser trailer for Dutton Ranch was released on March 23. The teaser also revealed that the series will premiere on May 15…just a few weeks from now!

Another Country Artist Joins The Yellowstone Universe

Although Dutton Ranch is nearing its premiere, the show is still making major casting moves.

The show just revealed the addition of two new actors on March 30. Berto Colón and Hart Denton have joined the cast in recurring roles.

Colón will play a cowboy named Miguel, while Denton will portray a character named Chet, an employee at a rival ranch to Beth and Rip’s.

Now, Dutton Ranch has booked another new cast member…and this time, the show snagged a country star!

Several country artists have appeared in the Yellowstone universe. Lainey Wilson played a musician named Abby in Yellowstone, and Riley Green just made his acting debut as a character named Garrett in the spin-off series, Marshals.

Plus, a handful of Yellowstone stars, including Luke Grimes, Ryan Bingham, and Kevin Costner, perform country music.

So who’s the country artist joining the cast of Dutton Ranch? It’s “Wilder Days” singer Morgan Wade!

Wade released her debut album in 2018. But her breakthrough moment came with the release of “Wilder Days” in 2021. The song peaked at #29 on the Country Airplay chart and has since been certified Platinum by the RIAA.

Three of her albums (Reckless, Psychopath, and Obsessed) have reached the Top 10 on the U.S. Heatseekers Albums chart.

Deadline reports that Wade will play a recurring character in Dutton Ranch named Carol. She is described as “a bartender at the local watering hole in Rio Paloma, Texas, who sees all.”

Wade shared a post on Instagram about her role, writing, “Excited to finally share this…Proud to be part of @duttonranch and grateful for the opportunity. Can’t wait for yall to see.”

Dutton Ranch previously unveiled its entire episode schedule. Check it out below so you know when to tune in and catch Wade on the show.
