“This is the day which Yahweh has made;
Let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

– Psalm 118:24

Sometimes, it’s hard to be thankful for the everyday, but Ella Langley is sharing how she’s not taking anything for granted.

“If you wake up grateful for the day that you were given, everything else is a cherry on top,” said Ella Langley.

This remark was the beginning of a statement that Ella made at her May 14 concert at the Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida.

Ella’s full statement, which finds her encouraging fans to lean on the Lord, has been gaining traction online.

Speaking on being grateful for the day she was given, Ella would soon be sharing from whom that day was given.

Noting that her outfit was scratchy, Ella stated, “I was like, ‘Ugh, I can’t move around in this thing,’ and I almost let that affect myself tonight, but why?”

Confidently, she rejected that impulse to be agitated, saying, “No.”

From there, she stated, “I’m given this show tonight — I don’t deserve it, but I’m given it — and I’m so grateful to be here.”

Expounding, she said, “I’m grateful that every single person here bought a ticket, and they’re watching this, and they’re singing along, and you’re here with me having this moment in real life.”

Describing this as her “spiel,” she then spoke to the hearts of those in the audience who may be returning to a life filled with struggles after her show, saying, “I’m gonna tell you right now that, if you’re in that spot that I was in, if you feel like, ‘I don’t know what to do. I don’t know how to do it. I don’t know how to wake up in the morning…'”

Pointing one finger up to the sky, she then said, “You trust Him, and you will be back to lovin’ life again. I promise you that.”

Faith Is Part Of Ella Langley’s Story

Uniquely, Ella’s public profession of faith in Jesus is not uncommon, with the country star frequently sharing about how her faith has helped her through some of her insecurities.

This particular speech is comparable to one she delivered when she first unveiled the song “Lovin’ Life Again” at a show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, in November of 2025.

At that time, she was coming off a break she took from touring, which saw her cancel several shows.

“I just got to a point this year — my band got to a point this year — where we were looking at the mirror and didn’t really recognize ourselves, the way that we used to,” Ella explained. “We were tired, we needed a break.”

Speaking on her decision to take a break, she admitted, “I can’t explain how much that changed my life.”

To the sound of applause, Ella said of her time away, “I got to read my Bible for two straight weeks.”

During her break, on September 4, 2025, Ella shared on Instagram a series of videos and photos from her time away from tour. There, we could see her riding horses, eating well, and reading her Bible.

One photo shared by Ella was of her Bible, turned to Romans 5, with Romans 5:3-4 highlighted, which reads, “Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”

Continuing her remarks for the crowd at the Ryman, she said, “It took me going back home to find my roots, you know.”
