A TikTok clip capturing a fan’s moment at a Zach Bryan concert in Canada has taken the internet by storm, racking up more than 11 million views.

Once-In-A-Lifetime Moment

Lucas Mason, a 17-year-old from St. Catharines, Canada, was graciously invited on stage by Zach Bryan himself to deliver a stellar rendition of his hit song “Heading South,” which played a pivotal role in Bryan’s rise to country music fame.

During Zach Bryan’s recent concert on his Quittin’ Time Tour at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, one lucky fan had the thrill of a lifetime when the country music sensation invited him on stage to perform.

The event, which took place earlier this week, attracted tens of thousands of enthusiastic country music enthusiasts, creating an electric atmosphere that made the impromptu performance even more memorable.

From Sign To Stage

“Before the concert, I was hoping to get on stage with him,” Mason told Fox News Digital. “I made a sign that said, ‘Darien Lake 2022, Lake Gardens 2023, can I play Heading South with you at Scotiabank 2024?'”

Mason’s sign signaled to Bryan that he was a dedicated fan who had eagerly attended the singer’s previous concerts, hoping for an opportunity to join him on stage this time. However, Mason’s hopes were crushed when venue security confiscated his sign upon entry.

Even though Mason faced a problem, he didn’t give up. He decided to get creative once again and purchased a Zach Bryan t-shirt at the venue. After swiftly removing his own white t-shirt, Mason wrote a new message to Bryan on it:

“Can I play Heading South??”

“I ruined the shirt, but it was really worth it,” Mason expressed. “I was really trying to manifest it and tell myself that it was going to happen.”

The Crowd Helps Out

In the crowd, Mason quickly made friends nearby, hoping to catch Bryan’s eye with all the excitement in the pit. This teamwork made the atmosphere even more thrilling, building up the anticipation for Mason’s turn on stage.

“When I was in the pit, I was talking to everybody there,” he said. “Everyone was really kind, and I’m like, ‘Hey, guys, I’m really trying to get on stage. Can you help me out and point your flashlights at me?’”

And that’s exactly what happened.

“Right before he sang the first verse, he noticed everyone yelling and pointing,” Mason recounted.

A video shared on the TikTok account @greatamericanbarscene documented the thrilling moment when Bryan invited Mason up on stage. The clip quickly went viral, amassing over 11 million views.

“Walking out was insane,” he said. “I was walking out of Scotiabank with a huge guitar, so everyone recognized me.”

This wasn’t Zach Bryan’s first time inviting a fan on stage.

At his concert on Friday, March 22, at Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama, he brought a fan up to perform “I Remember Everything,” and she nailed it.

Turns out, that fan’s name is Hannah McFarland, and she’s an aspiring singer-songwriter based in Nashville.

One fan commented on the original video posted, “ZB is a class act for letting fans perform at every show.”

A Star-Studded Duet

While it must have been truly incredible to witness a fan singing “I Remember Everything” with him, the opening night of his Quittin’ Time Tour at the United Center in Chicago had an even more monumental surprise.

Bryan brought out Kacey Musgraves, who sings the original duet with him, to a crowd of over 23,000 people.

The crowd was left in awe when Bryan surprised everyone by inviting Musgraves onstage for a captivating performance of their Grammy-winning duet. This marked the first time both artists had collaborated to perform the track together, creating a truly unforgettable moment for the audience.
