Like so many Americans, you probably love the taste and the caffeine jolt you get when you crack open a fresh Mountain Dew. You’ve heard of Mountain Dew flavored snacks before, but Mountain Dew Pickles? They’re here, and they’ve already got a cult following.

If you’re a fan of sweet pickles, these will probably be right up your alley. They’re easy to make – just combine pickle juice, your Mountain Dew flavor of choice, sugar, and let your pickles soak at least overnight. Be warned: whatever color of Mountain Dew you choose will be reflected in your pickles. If you’re grossed out by oddly colored food, we recommend you stay away from Code Red.

Take Note!

It might take a few tries for you to hit the pickle perfection you’re looking for, but it’ll be well worth the effort. Don’t forget to write down your different ratios as you try them out because when you find the perfect caffeinated pickle, you’ll want to create it time and time again.
