Has Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” Been Renewed For Season 2?

Landman is Paramount+’s most-watched series.
Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of Yellowstone, has been on a roll with successful television shows. From Yellowstone, to its spin-offs 1883 and 1923, to Tulsa King, Lioness, and now, Landman.
Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, a fixer for an oil tycoon.
Thornton’s character works for Monty Miller, played by Jon Hamm. He, along with his wife, portrayed by Demi Moore, add to the drama of this series. Ali Larter plays Thornton’s ex-wife, and 1923‘s Michelle Randolph plays Thornton’s daughter.
Landman has aired seven episodes so far, and it has already broken records, becoming Paramount+’s most-watched series. In its first four weeks, the show reached 14.9 million households.
Will there be a Season 2 of Landman?
There are only three more episodes of this season, and seemingly so much more story to tell, which is why fans are already begging for another season!
Demi Moore made an appearance at Cannes Film Festival recently and all but confirmed a second season!
“It’s a very interesting world in the boomtown of Fort Worth, Texas. It’s kind of this subculture that we haven’t seen before, which is what I think Taylor does so well,” she said. “I thought we looked really good. He was lovely and I’ve known Billy Bob Thornton for a long time. I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second which will be at the beginning of next year.”
While the network hasn’t revealed the fate of Landman, based on the success of the show, critically and otherwise, it’s a no-brainer!
Star Billy Bob Thornton agrees.
“The show has done very well, so it just stands to reason that they would do another one. but especially when you get a nomination for something — that draws attention to your show, so I think that helps. I can’t see why they wouldn’t. I imagine we’ll find it pretty soon, because if we were going to do one, we’ll have to start not too long after the first of the year.”
Thornton is nominated in the Best Performance by an Actor In A Television Series – Drama category at the upcoming Golden Globes for his work on Landman.
