Jelly Roll Stops Show To Celebrate 80-Year-Old Fan At Her First-Ever Concert
on Jul 14, 2026

When Jelly Roll learned that one of his fans chose his show as her first-ever concert, he brought everything to a halt to give her a moment in the spotlight.
Jelly Roll is currently on two tours. He and Post Malone are traveling across the country on their co-headlining Big Ass Stadium Tour. Additionally, Jelly Roll has several dates on the books for his solo headlining Little Ass Shed Tour.
The “Save Me” singer was performing during one of his recent shows when a sign in the crowd caught his eye. The sign said that an 80-year-old fan was there to witness her first concert.
What happened next was captured on camera and shared in a vlog that Jelly Roll posted on YouTube on July 10th. He can be heard saying, “Where is this sweet lady?” before ushering her to the front of the crowd, saying, “Come up here, grandma!”
The smiling woman quickly approached the stage and introduced herself as Marley.
“Hey, Miss Marley, how are you?” Jelly Roll asked, before saying, “Now I’m gonna be honest, I think you’re lying. I don’t think you’re 80, you look 60.”

Marley assured him that she is indeed 80 and confirmed that this was her first concert. Jelly Roll was clearly flattered, as he said, “Well, thank you for picking me, Miss Marley.”
He continued to say:
“I hope you have the night of your life. And I hope this starts a spree of you going to 50 more concerts for the next 20 years. The way you’re moving, I have a feeling you’re going to be a hundred years old, still coming to Jelly Roll shows. Thank you for making me your first one.”

Jelly Roll Recently Opened Up About Some Tough Times In His Life
Jelly Roll has been touring amid some challenging times in his personal life. He and his wife, Bunnie Xo, are divorcing after nearly 10 years of marriage.
He addressed their split at his concert on June 18th, saying:
“[Bunnie] will be my best friend forever. This is the only time I will ever speak about it. Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship, and 20 beyond that.“
Additionally, Jelly Roll confessed around the 45-second mark in his July 10th vlog (shared above) that he had been “overeating” and “stress eating” for several days.
Jelly Roll has been on an extremely public weight loss journey. Through the process, he’s learned that his struggle with his weight went “way deeper” and was connected to his mental health.
Jelly acknowledged his recent pattern of overeating and seemed determined to resume a healthier lifestyle as he gears up for his upcoming performances. His next show is scheduled for July 15th in Kansas City, Missouri.
