Karen Waldrup is on a roll and it might take her all the way to a winning moment on The Voice Season 25!

Louisiana native Karen Waldrup is the only female and the only member of Team Dan + Shay who made it to the season 25 Voice finale.

Waldrup won over country coaches Dan + Shay and Reba McEntire with her Blind Audition performance of JoDee Messina’s “Bye Bye.” She landed on Team Dan + Shay after the country duo used their only block of the season again Reba, guaranteeing that Karen would represent them.

The weeks of intense competition have proven that it was a good choice for Dan + Shay as Karen Waldrup has delivered solid country performances week after week. Her years of performing and hustling as she worked toward her dream gave her confidence on stage, which made her unshakeable. With covers of songs from Trisha Yearwood, Lee Ann Womack, Lainey Wilson and more, Waldrup was the country frontrunner early on.

During night one of the season 25 finale, Karen delivered two stunning performances. The first was a challenging cover of Rascal Flatts’ 2006 release “What Hurst The Most.” Fans praised her cover on social media saying that it was “flawless” and “she makes it look effortless.”

For her second performance, Karen brought her Voice journey full circle with another Jo Dee Messina cover. This time she took on the ’90s hitmaker’s “I’m Alright.” The Voice coaches responded to her rousing cover with a standing ovation, and fans online called it the night’s best performance.

Her coaches were beaming with pride as they praised her, saying, “Obviously, that’s a Jo Dee Messina song, but you made it your own. And you have done that from the beginning of the show,” Shay Mooney told Karen. “One thing that I want to say that you’ve done so well is you have never strayed from the path. You’ve done exactly what you’ve wanted to do and I’m so proud of you … I can’t wait to go see you in concert. I love you so much.”

Dan Smyers told Karen she is the show’s most consistent singer this season. Do you agree? If so, go vote for Karen Waldrup using the methods below.
