In the video the country/rock star posted to share the news, he explained the motivation behind the upcoming shows.

“I still believe that now is not the time to gloat, it’s definitely time to try to unite this country… but it’s also definitely time to celebrate with some other like-minded, common sense, hard-working patriots who unapologetically love this country.”

Kid Rock has been vocal for a long time about his political beliefs, particularly his support for the Republican Party and president-elect Donald Trump. Following Trump’s election as the 47th president of the United States, he shared a video message encouraging Americans to unite together.

“We must remember that most of our left-leaning friends are good people who want the same things in life as we do, but simply think differently about how to get there. It is now time to be the bigger person, to extend an olive branch, and unite all reasonable people of this great nation.”
