The 2024 Republican National Convention wrapped up Thursday night in Milwaukee, where former President Donald Trump officially accepted the nomination as the Republican candidate for president.
The convention has been taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, since Monday, July 15. Throughout the event, a wide range of speakers, including Trump’s family members, former staff, and elected Republican officials, have shown their support for his presidential run.
In addition to political figures, the convention featured appearances by country stars, including Lee Greenwood, Jason Aldean, and Kid Rock. Kid Rock’s appearance stood out, as he delivered a high-energy mashup of his hit songs “American Bad Ass” and “Cowboy.”
During his performance, he made notable changes to the lyrics, adding phrases like “fight, fight” and “Trump, Trump” to show his support leading up to Trump’s speech.
Kid Rock had not announced his appearance before the event but revealed his arrival in Milwaukee via a video posted on his social media.
