Country music superstar Lainey Wilson just released some clips that weren’t included in her new documentary, Keepin’ Country Cool. The film premiered on Netflix on April 22nd, offering an inside look into Wilson’s “Whirlwind” of a life.

The singer took to social media on Tuesday (May 19th) to share some previously unseen footage. The video is a compilation of amusing, unfiltered moments that show Wilson goofing around with her band and now-husband, Devlin “Duck” Hodges.

One of the funniest clips comes near the end of the compilation. It shows Wilson and her band members using a large water-cooler jug like a baseball bat to hit something they were tossing around backstage.

It wasn’t immediately clear what they were hitting until Wilson took a swing. She joked that people probably think they get up to all sorts of stereotypical “rock and roll” behavior behind the scenes, but really, “We just…hit cookies with water jugs.”

Who knew that would be so much fun? Watch that hilarious blooper and other moments that didn’t make the cut for Wilson’s documentary in the video below.

Lainey Wilson Just Got Married On May 10th

The past week has been an eventful one for Lainey Wilson. It all started on May 10th, when she married former NFL star Devlin “Duck” Hodges at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee.

Wilson traded her traditional bell-bottoms for a custom-made Oscar de la Renta wedding dress. Hodges has since admitted it was the first time he had ever seen Wilson in a dress since they started dating in 2021.

The couple had a star-studded wedding guest list, with country artists such as Luke Bryan, Wynonna Judd, Miranda Lambert, and Ella Langley in attendance.

Exactly one week after their wedding, the newlyweds traveled to Las Vegas for the 2026 ACM Awards. Wilson was nominated for multiple awards and had the honor of opening the ceremony with a performance of “Can’t Sit Still.”

Although Wilson didn’t win any trophies, it looks like she and Hodges still had a blast while walking the red carpet together and watching the performances during the ceremony.

Then, on May 19th, just two days after the ACM Awards, Wilson celebrated her 34th birthday

That’s the same day she posted her compilation of clips that weren’t included in her Netflix documentary. So maybe that was her birthday gift to her fans!
