Fans are finally getting the chance to hear the official version of Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert’s new duet!

You could say that Lainey Wilson’s life is quite the “whirlwind.”

Lainey is currently on her Country’s Cool Again Tour and is gearing up to release her fifth studio album, Whirlwind, in August!

Additionally, she was welcomed into the Grand Ole Opry family at the beginning of this month. And in February, Lainey won her first-ever Grammy for Best Country Album. Safe to say, Lainey Wilson is at the top of her game.

While Lainey Wilson is a big star now, the “Heart Like A Truck” singer had a long way to get there. After living in a camper outside a recording studio and being rejected from American Idol seven times, Lainey Wilson has toughed it out through some pretty hard times.

One person Lainey says she has always been able to count on is Miranda Lambert.

The two powerhouse vocalists have been good friends for a while, and Lainey revealed that Miranda has actually helped her get through hard times.

“Sometimes it can be lonely because at times you feel like, ‘Man, I don’t even know who I could talk to right now that would understand.’ Miranda is one of those people for me. She’s helped me through a lot.”

Considering Miranda herself is more than knowledgeable about life as a star, it’s heartening to know that these two women have each other’s backs. (Literally!)
