Country music’s biggest stars are set to honor the iconic singer and songwriter Jon Bon Jovi as he is named the 2024 MusiCares Person of the Year. This recognition celebrates not only Bon Jovi’s historic musical contributions but also his significant philanthropic work.

The 33rd annual Person of the Year fundraiser hosted by MusiCares will highlight Jon Bon Jovi’s extraordinary career and his dedication to creating a positive change, naming him as this year’s recipient of the honor.

Jon Bon Jovi has created an undeniable impact in the entertainment industry, however, his efforts extend beyond the music world. In 2006, he founded the Jon Bon Jovi Soul Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to breaking the cycles of hunger, poverty, and homelessness. The foundation’s mission is to empower individuals affected by these challenges through crucial programs such as food assistance, affordable housing, and support for social services and job training.

The Event Includes a Star-Studded Performance Line-Up

As the gala honors Jon Bon Jovi, the evening will feature performances that pay homage to his legendary music career. Beloved artists including Jason Isbell, Lainey Wilson, Brandy Clark, Jelly Roll, Goo Goo Dolls, Marcus King, The War And Treaty, and Shania Twain will deliver unforgettable renditions of Bon Jovi’s timeless hits. The event will also include a performance by Jon Bon Jovi himself, accompanied by his band.
