Lainey Wilson Shares The Name Of Her Dream Duet Partner
on Jul 12, 2024
Who Is Lainey Wilson’s Dream Duet Partner?
Lainey Wilson has a dream duet partner she’d love to sing with someday.
As one of country music’s leading stars, Wilson has had the opportunity to collaborate with many other singers. She’s already recorded duets with artists such as Dolly Parton, Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, and Miranda Lambert, to name a few.
Wilson has also worked with artists outside of country music. For example, she recently joined The Rolling Stones onstage to sing “Dead Flowers.” In another recent performance, she sat down with genre-blending artist Post Malone to sing “I Had Some Help” at Nashville’s Bluebird Cafe.

But there’s still one singer Wilson dreams of working with. She shared the name of that singer in a recent interview with FLAUNT magazine.
“I would love to do something with Miley Cyrus…” Wilson said.
If you think this idea seems out of left field, it actually makes perfect sense, considering Wilson’s history. She got her start performing as a Hannah Montana impersonator!
Hannah Montana was the alter ego of the character Cyrus played on the Disney Channel series of the same name from 2006-2011. The show also starred Cyrus’ father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus.
What Did Lainey Wilson Do As A Hannah Montana Impersonator?
Wilson spoke about her days as a Hannah Montana impersonator during an interview at the Billboard Music Awards in 2022. She performed as Hannah Montana for five years and dedicated herself to the role.
“I learned all fifteen Hannah Montana karaoke tracks,” she said. “I would do birthday parties, fairs, festivals, St. Jude…you name it. Lainey Wilson would open up the show for Hannah Montana.”
