Over the weekend, Lainey Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour had its opening shows in Nashville, Tennessee, for two consecutive nights at the Ascend Amphitheater. The second night’s show featured a surprise appearance by Miranda Lambert, who joined Wilson on stage to sing her hit song “Kerosene.”
Wilson’s opening weekend in Nashville was full of excitement, featuring multiple surprise guest appearances. On the first night, Wynonna Judd joined Wilson on stage to perform “Refugee” from the forthcoming Tom Petty tribute album. Additionally, Terri Clark made an appearance to sing her hit “Poor Poor Pitiful Me” with Wilson.
The second night featured even more star power, with Jelly Roll and Keith Urban joining Wilson on stage. Urban and Wilson performed their new duet “GO HOME W U,” which marked their first time performing the song together live.
But the surprises didn’t stop there. Fans were thrilled when Miranda Lambert unexpectedly joined Wilson on stage for an unforgettable rendition of Lambert’s hit song “Kerosene” and another performance of their unreleased collaboration, “Good Horses.”
With the support of so many country music superstars, Lainey Wilson has been on top of the world recently, having many things to celebrate.
Not only is her Country’s Cool Again Tour officially starting, but she is also gearing up to release her new album, Whirlwind, later this year. Scheduled for release on August 23, this will mark her fifth studio album.
Additionally, Lainey recently found herself on the receiving end of a surprise, when Reba McEntire invited her to become the newest Grand Ole Opry member during the season finale of The Voice, where Lainey performed. Lainey’s official induction into the Grand Ole Opry is scheduled for June 7.
