LeAnn Rimes just made a huge announcement.

Instead, she will be heading to the land down under – Australia!
Her video began with her sitting in an office chair with her back to the camera. She spun around and said, “Surprise, Australia! I’m coming to see you very, very soon ’cause I am going to be one of the coaches on this season’s ‘The Voice!'”
She continued, “I’m looking forward to it…and I can’t wait to discover new talent!”
“I’m gonna work on this chair turn a little more,” the “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” singer joked.
LeAnn captioned the video, “the roo’s out of the pouch. i have been keeping this secret for long enough and im so excited to share the news, that i’ll be joining @thevoiceau coach team alongside @guysebastion, @adamlambert & @katemillerheidke. time to get to work on my chair spins.”

As she said in the announcement, Rimes will be joining The Voice Australia fixture Guy Sebastian, Adam Lambert, and Kate Miller-Heidke.
Sebastian is the only returning coach, marking a huge advantage for him against three newcomers.
Despite some of The Voice Australia fans not knowing who she is, Rimes definitely has the experience needed to be a successful coach.
Rimes’ career began when she was just a kid at the age of 11. Her first studio album was released in 1991, with a second album close behind in 1994. By 1996, she signed with Curb Records out of Nashville, Tennessee. They released her cover of “Blue,” which really put her on the map.
