Michelle Pfeiffer Confirmed to Star In New ‘Yellowstone’ Spinoff, ‘Madison’

Michelle Pfeiffer to Join Yellowstone Spinoff
On Thursday, August 8, it was announced that Michelle Pfeiffer will both executive produce and star in the latest spinoff from Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan, titled Madison, as first reported by Deadline. The series was previously known as 2024.

In an exclusive report from TV Line last week, the show is rumored to center on a wealthy matriarch and her family as they leave New York City for Montana following the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.
“Michelle Pfeiffer is a remarkable talent who imbues every role with emotional depth, authenticity, and grace,” said Paramount Global Co-CEO Chris McCarthy. “She is the perfect anchor to the newest chapter of the ‘Yellowstone’ universe, ‘The Madison,’ from the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan.”
As of now, it hasn’t been confirmed which character Pfeiffer will play or who her co-stars will be. When news first emerged about Pfeiffer’s involvement in the series, it was reported that Kurt Russell and Patrick J. Adams were also in talks to join the cast, but there has been no official announcement on their participation yet.
Although details about the upcoming series are limited, production on the spinoff is expected to begin next month, with filming in Montana, New York, and Texas. The show is expected to premiere in 2025, following the conclusion of the original Yellowstone, which will wrap up with the final part of Season Five airing in November.

Last month, Paramount Network announced that production for the latter half of Season 5 had officially resumed after a two-year hiatus. The network revealed that the new episodes are set to premiere on November 10.
Fans of the Western series will have plenty to look forward to after the show ends, however. Paramount has previously announced several spinoffs in addition to Madison, including 1944 and6666, though no details have been released. Additionally, the second season of 1923 is currently filming.
