Morgan Wallen surprised the Stagecoach crowd during the festival’s closing night by bringing out Post Malone to perform their new song “I Had Some Help.”

Check out the lyrics to the chorus of Wallen and Malone’s new track:

“I had some help /
It ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself /
Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf.

Been deep in every weekend, if you couldn’t tell /
They say teamwork makes the dream work /
Hell, I had some help.”

The duo’s debut of the unreleased track not only treated the audience to a lively performance but also sparked enthusiastic reactions from the fans, who had eagerly awaited the opportunity to hear the entire song.

“Please…for the love of music, release this song.”
“I need this song more than I need air.”
“Give me a release date already!!!!”
“We need this song like yesterday pls release soon.”

One fan even commented, “If this song doesn’t drop soon, Morgan won’t be the only one throwing chairs off of roofs,” referring to the recent viral incident where Morgan Wallen threw a chair off the roof of Eric Church’s new Nashville bar.

Wallen and Malone were also recently spotted recording what could potentially be a music video. Fingers crossed this means the song might be released soon!

Post Malone’s collaboration with Morgan Wallen isn’t his first foray into country music.

He previously performed at the 2023 CMA Awards with Wallen and HARDY, delivering an iconic tribute performance to the late Joe Diffie.

Rumors about a potential country album by Post Malone were also confirmed by the artist during a Twitch livestream, although specific details are yet to be announced.

Additionally, at the 2024 Stagecoach festival, Post Malone delivered his own set of classic country covers, performing songs by artists such as Toby Keith and Randy Travis. He even surprised concert-goers with a few special guests during his set, including Brad Paisley who made an appearance to sing along with his own “I’m Gonna Miss Her.” He also joined in on covers of Vince Gill’s “One More Last Chance” and Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee.”

Post Malone’s recent Stagecoach performances further fueled speculation about his involvement in the country music genre.
