Nashville To Host Massive Rodeo Event This Year

An official PRCA rodeo is coming to Nashville! News just broke that Tennessee’s capitol city will host its first rodeo later this spring. More than 50,000 fans will have the chance to enjoy the Music City Rodeo over three days at downtown Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

Taking place from May 29-31, 2025, the event promises to be a “celebration of everything that makes country culture the coolest thing around.”

Music City Rodeo To Feature Major Country Music Stars

Following suit of similar rodeo events (i.e., RodeoHouston), each evening will feature an exciting concert following the competitive events.

Country music queen Reba McEntire will take the stage on opening night, Thursday, May 29th. Jelly Roll will headline the following evening, and Tim McGraw will close out the weekend with a performance on Saturday, May 31st.

New Teaser Video Released

Along with the announcement, Music City Rodeo shared an electric teaser video, enlisting the help of their headliners to build excitement for the inaugural event.

The voice of Tim McGraw reflects on the relationships between Nashville and the rodeo:

“For 80 years, Nashville has offered its voice to rodeo’s story, from Houston to Cheyenne to San Antonio.”

Reba chimes in:

“Right here in the heart of Broadway, where honky tonk neon meets daredevil grit, rodeo and country music collide.”

Jelly Roll can be seen serving drinks to a group of rodeo professionals in his new bar, Goodnight Nashville.
