Performers Announced For People’s Choice Country Awards

The list of performers has just been announced for the first ever People’s Choice Country Awards.
The popular People’s Choice Awards is expanding to include a new awards show dedicated to country music—People’s Choice Country Awards. You might be wondering what makes this awards show different from other awards shows like the CMAs, ACMs, and the Grammy Awards; The People’s Choice Country Awards will be chosen based on a public vote.
The two-hour show hosted by Little Big Town will air on September 28, 2023, live from Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House.
Two of the Biggest Stars of the ’90s Will Be Honored With Special Awards.
Toby Keith is going to be presented with the Country Icon Award from fellow Oklahoma-native, Blake Shelton.
Senior Vice President of Entertainment Live Events at NBC Universal Television and Streaming, Cassandra Tryon, stated:

Wynonna Judd will receive the Country Champion Award.
“Wynonna is one of the most recognized and lauded performers in country music,” Cassandra Tryon, Senior Vice President of NBC Universal Entertainment said in a press release. “Not only is she incredibly talented, her selflessness and passion for putting the needs of others in the spotlight is unmatched. We can’t think of a better person to honor as our inaugural ‘Country Champion’ and to celebrate the holidays with across these two major country music events.”

The performers for the new awards show have just been announced, and we are not disappointed! The list consists of some of the biggest names in country music: Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, HARDY, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Kelsea Ballerini, LittleBigTown, Toby Keith, and Wynonna Judd.
The show will air live on September 28 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock simultaneously.
