Post Malone Says His Daughter Changed His Life ‘In The Best Way Ever’

Post Malone has always kept his family life private, shielding it from the public eye. Although he has occasionally mentioned his girlfriend during interviews, he has never publicly revealed her identity.

However, fans have managed to uncover the mystery, identifying his long-time girlfriend and now fiancée, Jamie, who is pictured below:

The couple welcomed a little girl in May 2022. While they haven’t released her name, Malone has her initials, “DDP,” tattooed on his forehead.

Post Malone Speaks Out About Speculations Regarding His Health

Post Malone’s past struggles with alcohol and depression are well-known, However, recent years have seen growing speculation about his mental and physical health.

This speculation intensified after a video surfaced of him performing on stage, drawing comparisons to an Amy Winehouse video filmed shortly before her passing. The concerns escalated to the point where Malone felt the need to address them on Instagram, stating:

“i wanted to say that i’m not doing drugs, i’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and i’d suppose, performance on stage.”

After he addressed the rumors, he went on to say:

“i’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier. i guess dad life kicked in and i decided to kick soda, and start eating better so i can be around for a long time for this little angel.”

The artist opened up in a 2022 interview with Howard Stern about his lifelong struggle with depression and loneliness. When Stern asked how he managed to overcome his depression in his early years, Malone candidly responded:

“It was music, yes sir, yes sir.”

While music helped him cope with loneliness during his childhood, Post Malone credits something else for getting him through his recent years.

In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning, when discussing his transition to country music and his hit song “Yours,” Malone was asked about his daughter, to which he responded:

“It changes your life in the best way ever.”

And when asked if they saved him, he replied:

“Yeah, that’s true—her and her mom.”

When pressed about what he felt his daughter had saved him from he said a vague response of “everything, it was terrible”  when he was asked a second time he finally revealed it was “loneliness.”

He went on to describe what his days looked like before his daughter as “getting up, having a good cry, drinking, living your life..” and later “I got to wake up tomorrow and do this again.” 

Malone finished his interview on a high note with CBS Sunday Morning by saying:

“I don’t feel like that anymore, and its the most amazing thing.”
