RaeLynn Filled In For Katelyn During Live Performance Of “Thank God”
Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, released their duet, “Thank God,” on September 12th, 2022. Katelyn had her own music career before meeting Kane and deciding to go on tour with him. This was their first collaboration as a couple, and Kane told PEOPLE about their joint song:
“My fans have been waiting five years for us to sing together… And then ‘Thank God’ came in and I was like, ‘This is the one.’ And she said the same thing, but I’m so glad I waited for this particular one to come out. I keep telling everybody she’s my secret weapon, but this song is just, like, us. I feel like it’s any relationship song or anybody that’s married or going to get married just knows. It’s like, God put you in my life for a reason.”
RaeLynn is currently opening for Kane on his In the Air Tour, and she stepped in for Katelyn during a recent show. RaeLynn posted their joint performance on her Instagram with the caption, “Just tryin to make my best friend @katelynbrown proud in Los Angeles.”
