The disappearance of 22-year-old Riley Strain, a student from the University of Missouri, has left his family longing for closure after a month and a half of uncertainty.

On the night of March 8, Strain was last seen leaving Luke Bryan’s bar, Luke’s 32 Bridge Food + Drink, before 10 p.m. Reports indicate that Strain was prevented from being served more drinks due to being “overserved,” and security escorted him out of the bar around 9:30 p.m.

Luke Bryan’s Nashville bar later clarified that Strain was served only “one drink” during his visit.

Luke’s 32 Bridge released a statement on March 15, reading:

“During Riley’s visit to Luke’s 32 Bridge, our records show he purchased and was served one alcoholic drink and two waters. At 9:35 p.m., our security team made a decision based on our conduct standards to escort him from the venue through our Broadway exit at the front of our building. He was followed down the stairs with one member of his party. The individual with Riley did not exit and returned upstairs.”

Two weeks after his initial disappearance, a celebration of life was held in honor of Riley Strain in his hometown of Springfield, Missouri.

Following the discovery, Luke Bryan’s team, including the bar’s management, reached out to Strain’s family, expressing empathy and a desire to support them during this challenging time.

During an exclusive interview on The Pascal Show, the family of Riley Strain provided more updates regarding the investigation into their son’s case.

When questioned about the current status of the relationship between Strain’s family and Luke’s 32 Bridge, the family’s spokesperson, Chris Dingman, revealed that they have been in contact with them.

“Luke’s manager actually reached out to me. She’s reached out to me a couple of times. Luke has sent his empathy towards the family and everything, as far as that goes. [He] wants to possibly talk to the family. [He] understands with what’s going on right now with Riley and trying to get information toxicology and stuff, you know. It’s pretty much just left at that point right now, but they did reach out to the family which I thought was nice [and] the family thought that was nice too.”

Additionally, Dingman added, “We have no information saying that something bad happened in his bar.”

Despite the tragedy, Strain’s family remains hopeful for answers and appreciates the outreach from Luke Bryan’s team.
