Grammy Awards Fashion – See How Country Stars Dressed For Music’s Biggest Night

Country stars who attended the 2024 Grammy Awards dressed to the nines for the occasion. The ceremony occured on Sunday night (February 4) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.

The Grammys recognized country music in four country-specific categories. Those categories included Best Country Solo Performance, Best Country Duo/Group Performance, Best Country Song, and Best Country Album.

Three of the four awards were presented before the main ceremony. Best Country Album was presented during the main broadcast, and went to Lainey Wilson for Bell Bottom Country.

Jelly Roll

Jelly Roll earned two nominations from the Grammys this year. He scored nods for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and for the all-genre award for Best New Artist.

He didn’t win either trophy, but was still incredibly grateful to be recognized with his first nominations.

Brothers Osborne

John and T.J. Osborne of Brothers Osborne earned nominations for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Album. The latter nomination recognized their self-titled album released in September 2023.

During a conversation with Billboard on the red carpet, the duo explained why they self-titled that particular album.

Zach Bryan

Zach Bryan dressed for success at the Grammys. He was already a winner before the main ceremony!

Bryan’s “I Remember Everything” collaboration with Kacey Musgraves won the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance in the premiere ceremony before the primary broadcast. Bryan also earned nominations for Best Country Song and Best Country Album.

Kelly Clarkson

Kelly Clarkson may not be a country star by definition. In fact, her album Chemistry earned a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. But she has been a welcome member of the community for years.

She attended the 66th Grammy Awards with her seven-year-old son, Remington. He looked adorable in his bright red suit and colorful boutonniere.

Kacey Musgraves

Kacey Musgraves earned two nominations from the Grammys this year, for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song. As mentioned previously, she and Zach Bryan won the former award for “I Remember Everything.”

Musgraves also served as a presenter during the main ceremony. She presented the award for Best Country Album, which went to Lainey Wilson.

The War and Treaty

Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter of The War and Treaty earned two Grammy nominations this year. They were up for the all-genre Best New Artist Award and also scored a nomination for Best American Roots Song.

John Carter Cash & Ana Cristina Cash

Ana Cristina Cash and John Carter Cash dazzled on the red carpet at the 2024 Grammy Awards. John Carter won the award for Best Arrangement, Instrumental or A Cappella for serving as the producer on The String Revolution and Tommy Emmanuel’s version of “Folsom Prison Blues.”

The song, of course, was written and originally performed by John Carter’s father, Johnny Cash.

Kelsea Ballerini

Kelsea Ballerini shared some behind-the-scenes photos and videos of her Grammys outfit. She included one clip of herself braving the heavy rain on her way into the ceremony.

Ballerini’s EP Rolling Up the Welcome Mat earned a nomination for Best Country Album.

Carly Pearce

Carly Pearce served as a presenter at the Grammys‘ premiere ceremony. She attended the main ceremony later in the night, and stopped to chat with Billboard.

During the interview, Pearce gushed about her song with Chris Stapleton, “We Don’t Fight Anymore.” The duet earned a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Luke Combs attended the 2024 Grammy Awards with his beautiful wife, Nicole. His version of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” was nominated for Best Country Song.

During the ceremony, Combs joined Chapman to sing “Fast Car” with her for the first time. It was also Chapman’s first time performing publicly in several years.

Lainey Wilson

Country star Lainey Wilson dressed like a winner for the 2024 Grammy Awards…and she was one!

Wilson earned two nominations, and won the award for Best Country Album. She accepted the trophy during the main ceremony, when she gave a passionate acceptance speech.

She referenced her background as a farmer’s daughter, and compared farming to chasing her musical dreams.

“It’s about getting up every single day and planting those seeds and watering them and watching them grow,” she said. “And sometimes when you find the right farming community, you can have a harvest of a lifetime and I truly believe that. I think that’s exactly what this is tonight.”
