Shania Twain recently received the best birthday treat from Boyz II Men.

During a recent show for her Las Vegas residency, Shania Twain surprised the audience by inviting the renowned R&B group to perform with her.

Twain, who is reportedly planning to open a bar in Nashville, Tennessee, launched her “Come On Over” residency in May. It is her third stint in Vegas. She even hinted at the possibility of extending it once again in her latest Instagram post, saying she was “having too much fun.”

Twain’s Vegas residency also celebrates the 25th anniversary of her third studio album, Come On Over.

Released in 1997, Come On Over became one of the best-selling albums of all time, crossing over from country to pop music and reaching a wide audience. The album produced several hit singles, including “Man! I Feel Like a Woman!” and “That Don’t Impress Me Much.”

On Thursday (August 29), the country music star celebrated her 59th birthday a day late by having Boyz II Men join her on stage for a duet.

Their unexpected duet featured a rendition of Twain’s 1997 classic “You’re Still The One” and Boyz II Men’s famous “I’ll Make Love To You.”

Twain thought they would only sing two songs, but to her surprise, the group had something else up their sleeve. Before leaving the stage, Shawn Stockman, Nate Morris, and Wanya Morris surprised Twain with a birthday cake and serenaded her with the classic “Happy Birthday.”

Twain later expressed her gratitude to the trio on social media for visiting to celebrate her special day, writing:

“As a little birthday celebration and surprise for my fans I invited [Boyz II Men] on stage at my Vegas show last night – But what I didn’t anticipate is them, [Live Nation Vegas], and [Caesars Entertainment] surprising me with a cake!! Would you believe I hate being the centre of attention considering my career?! Thank you to my husband, Boyz II Men, my awesome crew, everyone at [Planet Hollywood] [PH Live] and of course to my beautiful fans for celebrating with me. I’m feeling very loved.”
