Reba’s Grandbaby Is Here! Shelby & Marissa Blackstock Welcome First Child

Reba McEntire’s family has grown as Shelby and Marissa Blackstock have welcomed their baby boy into the world!
In April, the country music superstar’s only son, Shelby Blackstock, and his wife, Marissa, shared the happy news that they were pregnant with their first child. Reba welcomed Shelby in 1990 with her now-ex-husband, Narvel Blackstock.
The Blackstocks shared a series of photos taken at Disney World, revealing that they were expecting a baby boy, due to arrive in October. They wrote with the announcement:
“Oh, BOY! We’re beyond excited to FINALLY announce our little man is coming in October. See ya real soon, pal! Mommy + Daddy love you!”
The amusement park holds special meaning for the couple. They said “I Do” during a magical ceremony below the Disney World castle in 2022.
Reba McEntire has maintained a relationship with the two children of her late stepson, Brandon Blackstock, and Kelly Clarkson. However, this is her first biological grandchild.

Shelby & Marissa Blackstock Host “World Tour” Themed Baby Shower
In July, the couple celebrated their baby on the way with an adorable “Welcome To The World Tour” themed baby shower hosted at Vinyl Vault in Nashville, Tennessee. Additionally, photos from the shower revealed the name of their future son: Archer Blackstock – “Archie” for short.
Beaming grandma-to-be Reba McEntire was in attendance with her fiancé Rex Linn, as well as other family members and close friends.
Archer Blackstock Makes His Debut
On October 21st, Shelby and Marissa Blackstock shared the happy news that Archie had arrived sometime in early October! The couple wrote online:
“After everything it took to get here, we finally get to call ourselves Mom and Dad. We’ve been taking these first few weeks just for us, and there’s nowhere else we’d rather be.”
Additionally, the new parents revealed the baby’s full name, which honors both his father and grandmother: Shelby Archer McEntire Blackstock.
