Their collaboration proved to be a success, leaving a lasting impression on every person in the room and garnering a standing ovation from all four judges. Niall Horan was the first judge to deliver his thoughts on the dynamic performance. He was so captivated by the duet that he told Reba he wasn’t even going to try to call it.

The former One Direction member marveled at the country artists and said, “Dylan, Tom, goosebumps climbing up my arms right now. That was insane guys. When the two of you started harmonizing together, it was electric. That’s when the room was like, ‘Oh, we’ve got a battle on our hands here.’”

Each of the judges gave their opinions on the performance before the host of the show, Carson Daly, moved on to the pair’s actual coach, asking Reba what she thought about the battle.

The queen herself said, “I thought it was absolutely marvelous. Even though your style of singing is so different, it complimented each other. It was just magical to me.”

Reba directed her attention to Niall and remarked, “Do you remember when you were in a competition and then somebody put all you guys together for a group? I can see a really good duo right here,” referring to the formation of One Direction on the British television music competition show, The X Factor, where they were created by uniting five solo artists who had been eliminated from the competition.

Niall chimed in, excitedly, stating, “Dylan even looks a little bit like me!”

Reba added, “I love you both. You’re both great singers. I don’t know what else to say.”

Tune in to The Voice tonight at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC to find out which of Reba’s country artists is moving on to the Knockouts.
