Trump Gives Chilling Message To Iran About What Will Happen Next If He’s Assassinated

While the ceasefire is “over” between the United States and Iran, talks between the two nations are set to resume in Oman on Saturday, July 11.
However, tensions are high as President Donald Trump responds to an alleged Iranian plots to assassinate him.
Late on Friday, July 10, Trump posted to Truth Social, renewing a threat to Iran of what will happen to the Islamic Republic if they assassinate him.
Now, on July 11, as negotiations are set to begin again, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed “revenge” for the death of his father, former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Trump Threatens Iran With What Will Happen If He’s Assassinated
On July 7, during the NATO summit in Turkey, the fragile ceasefire between the United States and Iran was declared “over” by Trump after 21 days of peace talks.
The ceasefire was set to last 60 days as the U.S. and Iran worked to negotiate the terms outlined in a 14-point Memorandum of Understanding, which controversially includes a provision for $300 billion of reconstruction efforts in Iran.

This ceasefire was broken, however, after commercial ships were fired upon by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz on July 6, the United States responded with two nights of significant bombing efforts, striking over 150 targets.
The Hill reports that a senior U.S. official has revealed that Iran claims the attacks on the commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz were conducted by an “errant” group within the Iranian military who are trying to sabotage negotiation efforts.
With negotiations now set to continue on July 11, there was also word of an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate Trump, which the Wall Street Journal said was reported to the U.S. by Israel.
Speaking on the final day of the NATO summit on July 8, Trump was asked about the possible threat as his new Air Force One plane — gifted to him by Qatar during his 2025 visit to the Middle East — was flown without him to England.
“I’m No. 1 on the kill list for Iran,” declared Trump as the situation was quietly unfolding that day, with the president ultimately leaving Turkey aboard the old Air Force One. Trump added, “You know, the life of a president is very dangerous — it’s 5.2% … you don’t make it.”
Responding further to the threat of assassination from Iran, Trump posted on Truth Social in the evening of July 10, saying that “orders have already been given” to militarily respond to Iran if he is assassinated by the Islamic Republic.
Trump’s threat to Iran also includes an attempt on his life.
Saying that 1,000 missiles are “Locked and Loaded” and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, Trump said that the U.S. would respond to an assassination by aiming to “completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran.”

Notably, Trump ends his post by writing, “PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!”
Trump has done this a few times, likely as a display of sarcastic passive aggression against the Islamic Republic. Quite controversially, Trump wrote a post to Iran on Easter of this year, writing the F-word and ending with the phrase of Muslim praise.
This threat also comes over a month after an alleged Iranian-backed plot to assassinate Trump’s eldest daughter, Ivanka Kushner, was revealed.
Further, there have been four significant domestic attempts against Trump’s life, including the Butler, Pennsylvania rally in 2024; the gunman at Mar-a-Lago; the 2026 White House Correspondents’ Dinner; and the UFC Freedom 250 fight on the South Lawn of the White House.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Calls For “Revenge” Ahead Of Renewed Negotiations
Former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed in an airstrike on the first day of the United States’ Operation Epic Fury, which began on Feb. 28.
His funeral took place from July 3 to July 10, with Iranian state media claiming 43 million Iranians attended the proceedings.

Vowing “revenge” for Ali Khamenei’s death — as well as all the “martyrs” killed in Iran’s Twelve-Day War war with Israel and the ongoing Operation Epic Fury — is his son, new Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
According to Axios, Mojtaba wrote on his Telegram following Trump’s July 10 post about how the United States is prepared to “decimate” Iran, writing:
“This revenge is the demand of our nation, and it will most certainly be carried out. These criminals — whose names are known from top to bottom — will take to their graves the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds. They should know that this does not depend on my personal presence or that of any other official.”
Mojtaba added, “Soon, freedom-loving people throughout the world will each carry out part of this divine mission.”
