Brandon Price was at a preparation table filleting a catfish he had caught earlier in the day when Kari Mills Price filmed a cottonmouth snake falling out of the fish’s belly.

Kari posted a video of the incident to Facebook saying, “Ok. So Brandon Price goes fishing early this morning and I go out to video him fileting his biggest catch today. I had already remarked to him that I thought the fish was pregnant because its stomach was huge.”

The video showed Brandon cut into the fat seven-pound fish with a specialized saw knife that vibrated to help slice through the fish.

As he did, you could see the snake that was every bit of three feet long slide out of a hole cut open in the fish’s belly.

The snake plopped down onto the table and Brandon and Kari didn’t even notice it. Brandon kept filleting the fish’s other side and then showed the nice hunk of meat to the camera.

Brandon walked off to throw some scraps away and when he walked back, he looked down at the table and realized what fell out of the fish.

He asked Kari, “Do you see what came out of it’s stomach?”

Kari screamed, “Oh my gosh, Brandon! Oh my gosh!”

He held up the snake with the knife to show how big it was.

“Quite a surprise when we realized it indeed was not pregnant! Looking back at the video you can see that I was oblivious to what was coming out of that fish! I’m still shaking!!” Kari wrote on Facebook.
