‘Voice’ Coach Chance The Rapper And Wife Announce Divorce

Hip-hop star and Voice coach Chance the Rapper is splitting from his wife of 5 years, Kirsten Corley.
Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, shared a joint statement on his Instagram story saying that he and Corley had decided to end their marriage after being separated.
“We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together,” Chance wrote. “God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together.”
The musician, 30, asked for privacy and respect as they navigate the divorce.
Chance the Rapper and Kirsten Corley wed in 2019.
The two first met when they were just 9-years-old. They began dating in 2013, and welcomed daughter Kensli in 2015. The couple broke up briefly in 2016 and reconciled a year later.
In 2018, Chance proposed to Kirsten during a family barbecue in their hometown of Chicago.

In 2019, Chance and Kirsten welcomed their second daughter, Marli Grace. Chance’s daughters rarely make public appearances, but he often shares photos and videos of them on social media.

Chance the Rapper is currently coaching on The Voice. He made his debut on the show for its 23rd season, skipped Season 24, and returned for Season 25.

Chance the Rapper is a Chicago-born rapper, songwriter and producer. He has earned multiple Grammy awards, most notably for his third album release, a mixtape titled Coloring Book. The album became the first streaming-only album to ever win a Grammy. During the first week after its release on Apple Music, Coloring Book was streamed more than 57 million times! The success of the album led to Chance also receiving the Best Rap Album and Best New Artist Grammys the same night.
