The 60th Annual ACM Awards Took Place On Thursday, May 8
Reba McEntire hosted the 60th Annual ACM Awards in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday (May 8). She returned as host for the 18th time, continuing her reign as hosting the show more times than any other person.
The night was one to remember with epic performances from Eric Church, Blake Shelton, Lainey Wilson, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn with Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts with the Backstreet Boys, Ella Langley, Zach Top, and Jelly Roll with Shaboozy.
Stapleton, Brothers Osborne, and Megan Moroney collaborated to honor Keith Urban with the ACM’s Triple Crown Award, which goes to an artist who has won New Artist, Best Male, Female, or Group Duo of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. Urban completed the trifecta in 2019 and is finally being awarded the Triple Crown.
There was also an incredible 12-minute opening number in honor of Song of the Year winners over the last several years from Clint Black, Dan + Shay, Wynonna Judd, Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, and Sugarland.

Blake Shelton presented the Entertainer of the Year Award, and revealed that “Lainey Freaking Wilson” won!
Lainey Wilson is the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, and with her back-to-back wins in this category, she is first woman in more than 10 years to win Entertainer of the Year two years in a row!
