Celebrating her 107th birthday, this effervescent and fiery woman from the Bronx told a local news station what has allowed her to live so long – and everyone got a kick out of it!

Each year since she turned 99, Louise Signore has been surrounded by friends and family members at the local senior center in the Bronx where she enjoys spending a great deal of time. In 2019, to celebrate her 107th birthday, she had more than 100 guests join her.

Signore told ABC 7 NY Eyewitness News that she used to come to the senior center and knew of a woman who turned 100 that year – she scoffed at the idea of living that long…but apparently she’s been doing everything right because she’s far exceeded that number!

She has traveled the world and has witnessed incredible moments in history, but the one thing she hasn’t done is get married!

According to Signore, if you eat right, get enough sleep, and stay single…you can pretty much live forever!
