Country Music Stars Often Feature Their Children In Their Music Videos To Give Things A Personal Touch

Many of the most popular country songs are about love and family. Because of this, country artists will often include their kids in their music videos.

In doing so, those videos become extra meaningful to the artist and their fans.

This isn’t a new phenomenon either. Artists such as Charlie Daniels and Alan Jackson featured their kids in their music videos decades ago. Those are just two examples, and we have 11 more here to share with you.

Martina McBride and her husband, John, have three daughters. Their names are Delaney, Emma, and Ava.

Delaney and Emma appear alongside their parents in Martina’s music video for “Blessed.” The video was released in 2001. Martina and John welcomed their youngest daughter, Ava, four years later.

Charlie Daniels’ Son Charlie Jr. Stars In The “Little Folks” Music Video

Charlie Daniels and his wife, Hazel, had only one child. They welcomed a son in 1965, and named him Charlie Daniels Jr.

Today, Charlie Jr. keeps his father’s legacy alive through the Charlie Daniels Podcast. But before that, Charlie Jr. made a special appearance in his father’s music video for “Little Folks.” The song was released in 1991 when Charlie Jr. was in his twenties.

Lee Ann Womack’s Daughters Appear In The Video For “I Hope You Dance”

Lee Ann Womack’s two daughters, Aubrie and Anna Lise, appear in the music video for her emotional hit, “I Hope You Dance.” Aubrie was nine at the time, and Anna Lise was one.

Her eldest, Aubrie, has since gone on to pursue her own country music career as Aubrie Sellers.

Alan Jackson’s Daughters Star In The “Drive” Music Video

Alan Jackson’s “Drive” was an ode to his late father, Eugene. He also sings about his three daughters he shares with his wife Denise. Their names are Mattie, Ali, and Dani.

All three girls appear at the end of Alan’s music video for “Drive,” which was perfect considering the personal nature of the song.

Brett Young Featured His Daughters In The Music Video For “Dance With You”

Brett Young and his wife, Taylor, share two daughters. Their names are Presley and Rowan.

At ages three and two, Presley and Rowan appeared alongside their parents in Brett’s super sweet music video for “Dance With You.”

Jason Aldean’s Kids Appear In The Video For “Got What I Got”

Jason Aldean’s music video for “Got What I Got” contains clips of him enjoying time at the beach with his wife, Brittany. They share two kids, a son named Memphis and a daughter named Navy. They appear throughout the music video too.

A clip toward the end shows Jason’s eldest daughters, Keeley and Kendyl, who he shares with his ex-wife Jessica.

Kane Brown Included His Daughter In The “Worship You” Music Video

Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn, share two daughters, Kingsley and Kodi, and a son, Krewe. Before Kodi was born, Kane featured Kingsley (and Katelyn!) in the official music video for his romantic hit, “Worship You.”

Kingsley was just one year old at the time.

Thomas Rhett’s Daughters Appear In A Video For “Remember You Young”

Thomas Rhett and his wife, Lauren, share four daughters. Their names are Willa, Ada, Lennon, and Lillie.

Many of Thomas’ songs are about his love for Lauren and his family. One such song is 2019’s “Remember You Young.” He released a special “home videos” video to accompany the song, which included footage of his two eldest daughters, Willa and Ada.

Dierks Bentley shares three kids with his wife, Cassidy. They have two daughters, Evie and Jordan, and a son named Knox.

Then-five-year-old Knox appeared in his dad’s fun-filled music video for 2019’s “Living.”

Gabby Barrett’s Kids Appear In Her Music Video For “Glory Days”
