So far, the CMT Music Awards are off the an awesome start. What an opening!

The CMT Music Awards are different than any other country music awards show out there, seeing as each award is fan voted. Some could even say that these awards mean more than all the rest! Time has come for the award for Female Video of the Year to be given out, and everyone was on the edge of their seats as _____ walked out to announce the winner.

Carrie Underwood: Featuring Ludacris “The Champion”

Carly Pearce: “Every Little Thing”

Kelsea Ballerini: “Legends”

Lauren Alaina:  “Doin’ Fine”

Maren Morris: “I Could Use A Love Song”

Miranda Lambert: “Tin Man (From 2017 ACM Awards)”

The Female Video of the Year winner was announced, and it was none other than “Champion” by Carrie Underwood!

Underwood’s music video for “The Champion” has been a gigantic hit all around the globe. The song, which features rapper Ludacris, served as this year’s anthem for the Super Bowl as well as the Winter Olympics.

It reached the number one spot on iTunes Top Songs chart in ten different countries. The video was posted to YouTube on March 2, 2018. Since then, it has accumulated well over 26 million views.
