Kid Rock is known for making bold and attention-grabbing choices, and his recent transportation pick is a perfect example of that.

Like many celebrities, Kid Rock has been seen driving a Tesla Cybertruck. However, his version is distinctively different— it is wrapped to look like the Dukes of Hazzard’s General Lee.

The car, featured in nearly every episode of the classic TV show Dukes of Hazzard, has received a modern twist with Kid Rock wrapping his Tesla Cybertruck to mimic the iconic vehicle. The wrap was done by a company called Wrap Artists, which has also customized cars for other famous country stars, including Jelly Roll and Ian Munsick, as seen on their Instagram page.

The original General Lee is a 1969 Dodge Charger that became iconic as the staple vehicle in the series The Dukes of Hazzard, which aired from 1979 to 1985. Painted bright orange with a Confederate flag on the roof and the number “01” on the doors, the car was driven by characters Bo and Luke Duke. Known for its dramatic stunts, including high jumps and other action scenes, the car’s name, General Lee, refers to Robert E. Lee, the general of the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.

Fans got an up-close look at Kid Rock’s Cybertruck during his debut Rock n’ Rodeo event earlier this year.

The event, described by its official website as “the electrifying fusion of rock, country, and hip-hop with Kid Rock performing live in concert…,” featured Kid Rock making a dramatic entrance into the arena. He sang his song “Cowboy” while standing in the bed of the truck, with Dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider, who played Bo Duke, driving the customized vehicle.

The company that wrapped Kid Rock’s Cybertruck later provided an in-depth tutorial on how the electric vehicle was transformed into a modern-day General Lee. They posted a video on their social media after the car caught the attention of numerous media outlets following Rock’s rodeo entrance.
