In July 1993, Wynonna released the second single off her album Tell Me Why. It was titled “Only Love,” and after several weeks on the charts, it peaked at number three on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart. The single was written by Roger Murrah and Marcus Hummon, and an accompanying music video was released shortly after its radio debut.
By the time she was a solo artist, Wynonna had already had major success as part of the duo The Judds, alongside her mother, Naomi.
The Judds were one of the most successful acts in country music history:
5 Grammys
9 CMAs
25 singles on the country music charts between 1983 and 2000

While she is recognized mostly for her work as part of The Judds, Wynonna had a successful solo career. One of her many fans of her solo work is none other than Blake Shelton. In a TikTok video posted on January 25th, Shelton revealed that “Only Love” was one of his favorite songs of Wynonna’s.
Shelton was wearing head-to-toe camouflage gear and as soon as he posted the video, comments began flooding in, giving him high praise on his choice of song, and of course how great he sounded!
