Monday evening (March 3), Dolly Parton’s team shared that Carl Dean had died in Nashville at the age of 82. Dean was well-respected and loved by all who knew him. In the social media post, Dolly shared a personal statement about her late husband, saying, “Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years.”
