Country music stars are known for their strong connection with fans and their commitment to delivering unforgettable live performances. However, every now and then, a few rude audience members can disrupt the experience. When that happens, some country stars don’t hesitate to step in.

From calling out bad behavior to halting performances and even personally kicking out disruptive fans, these artists have clarified that respect is mandatory at their shows.

Scotty McCreery Stops Concert to Throw Out Man Who Hit a Woman

One of the most recent incidents occurred during Scotty McCreery’s show at the Colorado State Fair. McCreery halted his performance when he saw a man in the audience hit a woman. Shocked by what he witnessed, McCreery stopped singing and shouted, “Hey, hey, hey!”

Pointing directly at the man, he said, “Right here, right here, that’s a lady you just hit, sir! Absolutely not.” McCreery then called for police and security to remove the man from the concert.

Carly Pearce Throws Heckler Out of Concert

Carly Pearce made it clear that at her shows, she expects everyone to treat each other with kindness. However, a man in the audience learned this the hard way when he decided to shout rude comments at the singer during her performance at WE Fest.

According to witnesses, the man near the stage shouted several disrespectful remarks, including one instance when Pearce approached the mic to say, “I want to tell you all a little bit about me,” and he rudely interrupted by yelling, “No one cares.”

Rightfully angry by the man, Pearce said over the mic:

“Out! Somebody get him out of here! I do not want him at my show… If you’re going to be an a**hole, then you’re going to have to say it to me and get the f*** out of my show.”

After security removed the man, Pearce told the crowd, “I don’t care if it’s, to me, I don’t care if it’s to somebody sitting next to you. I don’t care if it’s on the internet. I don’t care if it’s texting, words hurt. That hurt me. That was not nice. And I’m just here to tell you guys, be kind. Do not say mean things to people just to be mean. Don’t think that there aren’t consequences for it. It’s not kind. It’s not right.”

Miranda Lambert Pauses Show After Group Starts Fighting

Miranda Lambert has never hesitated to stop her concerts when she spots unruly behavior in the crowd. One of the most talked-about incidents happened last year during her Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas Residency. Lambert sparked controversy when she paused her performance of her 2016 hit “Tin Man” to call out a group of five women who were more focused on taking photos than listening to the song.

Then, in July of this year, Lambert once again addressed the crowd before starting her performance, clearly annoyed by a group of women who were causing a commotion.

The women appeared to be fighting, prompting Lambert to ask, “Are we done with our drama yet?” With a laugh, she added, “And it’s always the girls. We get crazy.” She decided to wait it out, telling the audience, “This seems like a good time for a drink, y’all!”

Tim McGraw Removes Fan For Hitting a Girl

During a show in 2011, Tim McGraw spotted a fan in the crowd fighting with what appeared to be his girlfriend. McGraw saw the man swinging at the woman, prompting him to stop the show and address the situation. He brought the woman up to the stage to distance her from the man, who was then escorted out of the concert by security.

Cody Johnson Threatens to Break Up Fight Between Audience Members

Cody Johnson wasn’t afraid to intervene when a fight broke out near the stage during one of his concerts. As two men started fighting, Johnson stopped performing to warn them that if they didn’t stop, security would escort them out. His frustration grew when he noticed kids nearby, telling the men, “If y’all bump into one of these kids, you’ll have ME jumpin’ off the stage.”

Kane Brown Kicks Fan Out For Flipping Him The Middle Finger

In June of this year, Kane Brown proved that he wouldn’t tolerate disrespect at his shows. While performing his song “I Can Feel It,” an audience member flipped him the middle finger. Brown responded by saying, “Come here, I wanna show you what flipping me off will do,” before calling security to escort the man out of the venue.
