President Trump Displays A Surprising New Piece Of Wall Art

Donald Trump‘s mug shot from August 2023 is now proudly displayed outside the Oval Office. The photo was taken after the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office booked the politician on charges that he illegally schemed to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.

The significance of the photo varies greatly depending on the audience. Much of his opposition views it as a symbol of shame, while many of his supporters spin it as a badge of honor. It was widely used in campaign marketing and merchandise during the 2024 election season.

It is the first mug shot of a former president to ever be taken. After the fact, Trump told reporters that it would become the “most iconic photo in the history of U.S. politics.”

When he took office in January, Donald Trump recreated the expression from the infamous mug shot for his official portrait.

The Mug Shot Was Spotted During Trump’s Meeting With The Indian Prime Minister

On Thursday, February 13th, the President met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In official photos released from the meeting, the booking photo can be seen hanging on the wall of the hallway outside the Oval Office, just behind the White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles.

Specifically, Donald Trump had the New York Post cover prominently featuring the mug shot, printed and framed for display.

Dan Scavino, assistant to the President and White House Deputy Chief of Staff, shared another angle, revealing that any person who walks into the Oval Office must pass by the bold artwork. See it below!
