Ella Langley Receives Her First No.1 on Country Radio With “You Look Like You Love Me”
Ella Langley is quickly becoming one of the fastest-rising stars in country music, thanks to her song “You Look Like You Love Me,” featuring Riley Green.
The track was originally released in June as a promotional single for Langley’s debut album Hungover and hit country radio on August 5th. “You Look Like You Love Me” went viral, earning Langley and Green the award for Musical Event of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards.

Now, after gaining massive attention, it has officially reached No.1 on the Country Airplay chart. This marks Langley’s first-ever number one song, while for Green, it’s his second time reaching the top spot.
Women Are Back at the Top of the Country Charts After 51 Weeks
“You Look Like You Love Me” has ended a 51-week dry spell for women at the top of the Country Airplay charts.
Langley is the first female artist to reach the number one spot since Lainey Wilson in December 2023, when her collaboration with Jelly Roll, “Save Me” topped the charts.
According to Billboard, “You Look Like You Love Me” surged from No. 7 to No. 1, seeing an 18% increase with 26.5 million audience impressions during the week of November 29 through December 5.
The 51-week slump was the longest period in nearly two decades without a female reaching No. 1.

After the massive success of their single together, Langley and Green recently released another duet. Their follow-up song, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” dropped in September. The song appears on Green’s new album of the same name.
