Beloved actor Matthew Perry, renowned for his role in Friends, passed away at the age of 54 due to a tragic incident on Saturday (Oct. 28). 

Following a cardiac arrest call, authorities arrived at a residence in the Los Angeles area, where they found Perry unresponsive in a jacuzzi, according to law enforcement officials.

It’s important to note that no drugs were discovered at the scene, and there is no suspicion of foul play. A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told PEOPLE that they responded to a call reporting the death of a man in his fifties at Perry’s residence, although they refrained from confirming his identity.
